Two quite different jobs share one town here. Meaford splits between shoreline residential and the agricultural buildings inland from it, and the two have almost nothing in common except the drive out.
Shoreline slabs
Property close to the Georgian Bay shore has the same underlying problem as Wasaga, arriving by a different route: a water table sitting close to the underside of the slab. The soils are nothing like the sand at Wasaga Beach — and the consequence for a coating is identical, which is that vapour pressure under a sealed film lifts it. Same test, same primer decision, same reason we run it before quoting.
Older shoreline cottages carry an extra wrinkle. Most were built well before anybody was putting a barrier under a slab, and a good number have been converted to year-round use since. Those are the highest-risk floors in this town, and they are also the ones most likely to look perfectly fine.
Apple country
Meaford is the western half of the orchard belt running along the escarpment through Clarksburg and Thornbury, and the floors that come with it are packing areas, cold storage approaches and equipment sheds. They ask for three things at once: point loading wants film thickness, wash-down wants anti-slip and coving at the wall, and fruit acids rule some products out entirely.
Cold storage is its own specification
A floor running near freezing all year is not a normal job with a different postcode on it. It needs a system chosen for that, and it is worth flagging at the quote rather than on the morning of the install.

Meaford is at the edge of our range. Quote visits take a little longer to arrange and we combine them where we can. If you need somebody on site tomorrow we are probably not the right call out here — better you know that now than after a week of waiting on us.
